Seit Jahren hat es sich ja kaum eine Band nehmen lassen, unplugged Konzerte zu spielen und/oder unplugged Alben herauszubringen. Die Idee hat ja auch ganz offensichtlich jede Menge Charme: Die Atmosphäre ist intimer, persönlicher, und ohne den ganzen verstärkten Radau hat man als Zuschauer oder Zuhörer die einmalige Chance, den wirklichen inneren Kern einer Band zu erleben.
Was aber, wenn man diesen Gedanken weiter denkt, und „unplugged“ als etwas mehr definiert, als nur das Kabel aus dem Gitarrenverstärker zu ziehen?

Nach 13 Jahren intensivstem, schweißtreibendstem Rocken stellen LA RUDA die Verstärker für einen Moment in die Ecke und präsentieren sich in neuem Gewand. Bestehende Songs wurden umarrangiert, bisher unveröffentlichtes Material darf endlich auf die Bühne und den Tonträger. LA RUDA ACOUSTIQUE präsentiert Swing, Chanson, Melancholie und Poesie, und vor diesem stilistischen Hintergrund können sich die Lyrics und die außergewöhnliche Stimmer von Sänger Pierrot erst so richtig entfalten.
„Les bonnes manieres“, so der Titel des Albums, erlaubt langjährigen Fans, eine völlig neue Seite der Band kennen zu lernen, und gibt all jenen, die LA RUDA bisher nicht kannten, die Möglichkeit, ein kleines musikalisches Juwel zu entdecken!

After 13 years of Rock shows and pure energy, LA RUDA put their amplifiers aside for a moment and present an album of recomposed and previously inedited songs, beautifully arranged in swing chanson versions.
Its far more than just the "unplugged" versions of their songs, they really revised some of their most touching songs. These new versions emphasize the unique style of LA RUDA - poetical, sometimes melancholic, but always very melodic - and accentuates the lyrics and voice of leadsinger pierrot.
